Meet Peggy
Peggy was born in Olathe, Colorado, and was already working summers in Ouray before she graduated high school. In March 1995 she and her husband moved to Ouray into their first home — one they built themselves. She waited tables and tended bar for over 10 years, then worked as a massage therapist at Healing Touch Therapies at the Ouray Hot Springs Pool for more than 7 years before earning her real estate license — passing on her first try.
She started selling real estate and managing property with John Lesnefsky Real Estate in 2004. In 2009 she and J Gary Dunn took over the business as Dunn and Lindsey Real Estate; in 2012 the office became hers as Lindsey & Co. Real Estate, and in 2017 it became Ouray Real Estate Corporation. The office has been at the same Main Street location since 1971.
Peggy has two children, Kayla Karsh and Daniel Tomaske, and four grandchildren. She has lived in Ouray continuously since 1995, has seen the market's highs and lows, and knows it inside and out.

Peggy Lindsey is a professional! She is very experienced in the area and had the knowledge we needed to prepare and price our property correctly to avoid wasting our time. Once listed we had a contract within one week and closed in less than 45 days.
Peg worked with us tirelessly and showed us all the homes we asked to see, some of them more times than once. She has great knowledge of the area. She was very prompt in all the paperwork when it came to contracts and dates. We love our home and Peggy is now a friend!
Peggy is very experienced and knowledgeable. She helped us through our purchase and handled all details with professionalism, speed, and accuracy. Highly recommended.
Peggy helped us rent property for two years and then found the perfect property for us to purchase. She knew the area and available properties better than anyone else could have.
We've always vacationed in Ouray, but had no idea what it would take to live here. Peggy's knowledge of this area and it's residents was outstanding... we're so very pleased we had Peggy Lindsey by our side.
Peggy knows the area well which is very helpful to 'out of towners' trying to sell property... She also steadfastly 'hung in there' with us during an economic downturn. Call Peggy to sell your property!
